Fabien Barrel for Excelsior Hôtel – Paris
Fabien Barrel, talented creative based in France, created these gorgeous illustrations and identity for Hotel Excelsior in Paris. He masterfully portrays the hotel’s image as established luxury and tradition with a twist of modern romanticism. These artworks combine traditional oil paintings with his beautiful new creations. Some of the artworks with type and collages remind me of the old French posters made by one of my favorite and prolific artist, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
